We are all troubled and alarmed by the activity in Llantwit Major of an extremist campaign group.
In light of this, I have been delighted to see the continued strength of community support for Ukrainian families.
Questions remain over the process used by the Vale Council on selecting and not consulting residents on the use of Eagleswell. Residents underline that this should not be interpreted as opposition to the warmth and welcome we extend to Ukrainian families.
I am in constant consultation with the Police to ensure that the group’s activities have minimal impact on local residents.
