All Saints Church, Barry hosted a highly successful coffee morning on Saturday 11th March. With over 50 people in attendance during the morning, money was raised for the Mothers Union Charities through the sale of refreshments, commemorative royal wedding crockery and a popular bric-a-brac stall.
Vale MP Alun Cairns said “Congratulations is owed to all at All Saints Church, who not only made the coffee morning thoroughly enjoyable, but also helped raised money for the Mothers Union Charities. The selflessness demonstrated by all individuals who provided refreshments was exemplary, and I have no doubt that the charities will be utterly grateful for the attendees’ donations and the organisers’ efforts.”
All Saints Church’s next fundraising event will be the Barnardo’s Group’s ‘A Touch of Irish’ afternoon on Saturday 25th at 2pm.
