Local MP, Alun Cairns paid a visit to the Wick Group of Artists Exhibition at the Old Hall in Cowbridge. The amateur group of artists have over 50 pieces on display some of which are on sale.
Alun Cairns commented on the exhibition stating, ‘it is truly fantastic to see such an amazing selection of art. We really do have very talented artists here in the Vale of Glamorgan.
I pay tribute to the group in Wick who are all self-taught! I urge that if you are in Cowbridge to pay a visit, it is great to have such an attraction here on the High Street through the spring months. My favourite piece was a brilliant portrait of a Chicken! You will agree with me once you see it!”
The Exhibition is in the Old Hall, and it is open daily from the 5th February till the 2nd March.
Alun was welcomed to the exhibition by a member of the Wick Group of Artists, Tony John, who himself has a few pieces of art displayed in the exhibition.
The exhibition is free to visit.
