The Vale of Glamorgan's MP, Alun Cairns, has organised a public meeting on Thursday 17 March 2022 to discuss the situation in Ukraine.
The meeting, open to all residents of the Vale, is scheduled to take place at the Duke of Wellington pub in Cowbridge, starting at 7pm, and will serve as "an opportunity to consider the challenges and risks faced in Ukraine and across Europe, including the UK and NATO response".
In a post on social media sharing the details of the meeting, Cairns added that he will be delivering the latest information on the proposed methods of helping Ukrainian families, while also opening up the conversation for residents of the Vale to share their ideas.
Local residents who have both knowledge and experience in supporting families in a similar position will also be in attendance to pass on their thoughts and expertise.
