Today is Emergency Services Day where we recognise and pay tribute to the incredible people who deliver first-class emergency services, often in the most challenging circumstances.
Yesterday I had the privilege of meeting with representatives from St John Ambulance in Parliament and the opportunity to thank them for their hard work in support of our communities.
St John Ambulance play such a vital role in the Vale and it is important that we recognise their outstanding hard work. We must continue to support them moving forward so that they can continue to support our emergency services where they can.
Thank you to all who work in our emergency services, the pandemic shone a light on the tremendous contribution you all make and we are hugely grateful!
