Local MP Alun Cairns visited St Cyres School to hold a Q&A session with politics students last week. The questions were wide ranging, from pupils inquiring about the Prime Ministers position, what a normal working week is like for an MP and what is Alun Cairns political ideology.
Alun commented stating, ‘they were certainly tough questions, but I welcomed the debate, and it was great to have a chance to speak to these intelligent and politically aware sixth formers. Maybe I will see them in the House of Commons debating them over legislation soon!’
