Today, I visited the site and met with around 40 local residents to discuss their concerns since my last public meeting.
There is no disputing the communityโs strong will to support Ukrainian families.
But the way that they have been treated by the Council over the site, previously earmarked as a well-needed medical centre, is unacceptable.
The Council have ignored their concerns and have not been upfront about their long-term plans.
I am going to continue to work with local residents to stand up for the community.
